Streszczenie referatu

W referacie przedstawiono historię ponad stuletniej drewnianej konstrukcji dachowej jednego ze znanych muzycznych obiektów Śląska. Dach ten stanowi przekrycie głównej widowni i od prawie 15 lat był eksploatowany, pomimo kategorycznych zaleceń rozbiórki, bez przeglądów czy kompleksowej kontroli stanu technicznego. Na początku 2012 r. Zarządca obiektu zauważył na widowni fragmenty tynku spadającego z sufitu. Sytuacja ta zaniepokoiła właścicieli budynku, którzy w trybie natychmiastowym zlecieli wykonanie ekspertyzy stanu technicznego konstrukcji dachowej wraz z oceną możliwości dalszego jej użytkowania. Przeprowadzony wieloetapowy przegląd ujawnił szereg wad I uszkodzeń elementów nośnych konstrukcji, które z uwagi na swój stan, w dowolnym momencie, mogą ulec uszkodzeniu bądź zniszczeniu. W chwili obecnej najbardziej newralgiczne miejsca w konstrukcji są pod ścisłą kontrolą, a obiekt dopuszczony został warunkowo, po wykonaniu wszystkich zaleconych wzmocnień i napraw, do czasowego użytkowania (do sierpnia 2013 r.).

The history of the more than 100-year-old timber roof construction located in one of the music known objects in Silesia is presented in this paper. This is the roof decking over the main audience which for nearly 15 years has been operated, despite categorical recommendations of disassembly, without reviewing the comprehensive technical inspections. At the beginning of 2012 facility manager noticed in the audience fragments of plastering falling down from the ceiling. This situation alarmed the owner of the building who immediately arranges the execution of the technical state of the roof construction together with an assessment of it's possibility of further use. A multi-stage investigations of analysed structure has shown a number of faults and damages of the load-bearing structure, threatening it's'failure without prior warning. At present, the most important, load-bearing parts of the structure are under constant control, and the property has been approved, after all recommended strengthening and repairs, for temporary use (up to August 2013).
